Congressman Howard Coble (R – 6th) paid a visit to Truliant Federal Credit Union’s Mebane Member Financial Center. Coble’s visit on Tuesday morning gave the longtime representative a firsthand look at how Truliant is benefiting its membership in the Alamance County area.
“Congressman Coble has long been a supporter of credit unions, like Truliant, that are specifically structured to focus on improving members’ and his constituents’ lives,” said Marcus Schaefer, Truliant President/CEO. “Having Congressman Coble visit our Member Financial Center to meet with our staff and members, reaffirms our mutual interest in helping working families reach their financial goals.”
“In-branch visits by elected leaders like Congressman Coble allow them to see up-front how credit unions are different,” said Pam Melton, NCCUL Political Affairs Director. Melton added that such visits also provide elected leaders like Coble an important opportunity to meet with constituents on their “home turf”.
