DESCRIPTION:The North Carolina Credit Union League and SC Credit Union League will co-host the Hike the Hill trip to Washington, DC. Hike the Hill provides credit union advocates an opportunity to provide to Congress with their perspectives on important issues.Lodging for the trip to DC will be based at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town near the NCUA headquarters. Participants will travel up on Tuesday, May 14 and enjoy a group dinner and briefing near the hotel. Wednesday will include a breakfast reception for congressional members and staff at Credit Union House, then meetings on Capitol Hill.Participants have the option of traveling home that afternoon or staying a second night for the NCUA Board of Directors meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16.
