Latino Community Credit Union Small Business Loans

People like Lima Marchan have been able to realize their dream of owning a business, thanks to hard work - and the Micro Business Loan Program that Latino Community Credit Union has started.

LGFCU Commercial Lending

Bill Carter, the Commerical Lending Manager for LGFCU Financial Partners, discusses the credit union's lending program to volunteer fire, rescue and EMS departments in NC. The credit union provides low-interest loans to finance badly-needed equipment. Since beginning the program in 2006, LGFCU has loaned more than $44 million to 115 departments in 59 counties across the state.    

Local Government FCU's SOG Scholarship Program

Erica Hinton discusses LGFCU's School of Government Scholarship program and its impact on the members of the credit union. Since the program began, $235,000 in scholarship funds have been awarded to 314 LGFCU members!
