Marine FCU broke their fund raising record at their 18th Annual Charity Golf Tournament! A total of $140,000 was raised for Hope for the Warriors and the Jacksonville USO, each receiving a check for $70,000.
47 teams participated under blue skies and a nice breeze. Outback Steakhouse of Jacksonville returned once again to sponsor feeding players and volunteers a delicious meal of steak, chicken, rice, and salad.
Participants also took chances to win valuable door prizes, including a Whirlpool Front Loading Washer and Dryer donated by Furniture Fair.
The 2013 tournament is slated for April 26.
