Carla Stamper, the Manager at Greensboro Postal CU, wrote the following open letter to credit unions in NC in honor of Evelyn Arnold, the previous manager who passed away earlier this month.

Greensboro Health Care Credit Union Changing Its Name

The decision by the Credit Union’s Board of Directors was not made lightly. Genice DeCorte, CEO of HealthShare Credit Union, says board members believed the existing name did not truly reflect the organization’s field of membership. We have not merged or partnered with any other financial institution, group or credit union. We just felt the need to align our name with our current membership and strategic plan.
