Champion Credit Union Announces Graduates from the Credit Union Development Education Program

Champion Credit Union's Karen Knowlton, Executive Vice President of Business Development, and Megan Carpenter, Trainer, became Credit Union Development Educators. Forty credit union professionals became Credit Union Development Educators (CUDEs) after being guided by eight dedicated program facilitators and mentors through the intensive Credit Union Development Education (DE) Training from the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF). The May training was held at the Lowell Center on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison, Wisconsin.

SECU Public Service Internship Program Underway for 47 NC College Students

A 2-day orientation session held recently in Raleigh, NC marked the start of the State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) Public Service Internship program for 47 college students and their county mentors. SECU Foundation and North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center officials welcomed the new SECU Public Service Interns and presented expectations for the summer program.
