Two Charlotte Metro Credit Union (CMCU) employees have been promoted, it was announced by Ann Robbins, the credit union’s senior vice president of Human Resources. Melissa Clark is now the manager of the University branch on West W.T. Harris Blvd. Andrea Jordan was promoted to manager of the Ashley Rd. branch.
“We are always happy when we can grow top talent internally,” said Robbins. “Melissa and Andrea help make Charlotte Metro a ‘happy place’ for our members. They inherently understand what makes people feel special and welcomed. And they consistently deliver. These are all well-deserved promotions.”
Andrea Jordan was promoted to assistant branch manager of the Central Ave. branch last November. Jordan has been with CMCU since 2005 and previously served as member service advisor at the Matthews branch. When she moved to Charlotte eight years ago, she became a credit union member and an employee in the call center. “The call center experience taught me all about our products and features,” she said. “I’m always looking for what’s best for the members.”
Clark began her career at CMCU in 2005 as ATM specialist. From there, she was promoted to account manager in 2007, teller supervisor in 2008 and manager of the Ashley Rd. branch in 2011. Prior to joining CMCU, Clark was a successful small business owner in Florida. Clark says, “Charlotte Metro is a great place to work because the company values the members and their employees.”
