After two years as Charlotte Metro Credit Union’s marketing specialist, Randall Beckwith has been promoted to vice president of marketing, it was announced by Ann Robbins, CMCU vice president of human resources. Beckwith will report to CEO Bob Bruns.
“This promotion is recognition of Randy’s many contributions to our growth during the past two years,” said Bob Bruns, CEO. “Evidence of his creativity and innovation is all over our branches and in the media throughout Charlotte. He’s been tireless in investigating new channels and new platforms for CMCU to share our message with customers and prospects. I’m pleased to officially have him on my management team.”
Beckwith has spent his career in PR, strategic marketing communications and graphic design. He’s worked in the public transit, financial and non-profit sectors and has lived in Minneapolis, Denver, Colo., Tampa Bay, Fla., and points in between before coming to Charlotte to join CMCU.
“I would describe my role at CMCU as part artist and part engineer,” Beckwith says. “I employ strategic research, human factors and behavioral traits in developing marketing communications. Information which is presented clearly and logically leads to greater long-term retention by the viewer. That process allows me to meet established business objectives as a measure of my success.”
