Summit Credit Union Branch Is Moving . . . But Not Far!

Posted on July 23, 2012

The Summit Credit Union Branch located on 800 Summit Avenue in Greensboro, NC will relocate later this week - to the other side of the same building.

As part of a complete building renovation, the credit union will move its branch operations to the newly remodeled side of the building on Friday, July 27, 2012. During the move, the Summit Avenue Branch will be closed throughout normal business hours and will reopen on Monday, July 30, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. The new branch entrance will be located on Dewey Street closer to the newly paved parking lot.

Summit Credit Union has been located on Summit Avenue since 1977 and was originally the Credit Union’s headquarters. The building’s remodel was started in January 2012 with the office remaining open for business during the entire renovation. New features of the branch will include a brand new waiting area, a member self-service call center, and a new walk-up ATM. A grand opening for the newly remodel building is schedule for August 22, 2012.

“We look forward to the ability to serve our members faster in a new comfortable setting,” says President and CEO Sam Whitehurst. “Our Summit Avenue Branch was overdue for an update and we are pleased to bring such a modern look to our branch.”
