Local Government Federal Credit Union (LGFCU) proudly announces the appointment of Sander Casino to the position of Vice President, Finance.
Casino has 15 years of banking experience working with asset liability and capital management, debt and derivatives issuance and execution, funding and liquidity management, portfolio management, regulatory and rating agency relations, and credit agreement negotiation. He comes from RBC Bank, where he spent 11 years, the last six as treasury director. At LGFCU, Casino will be responsible for all finance functions, including asset liability management, financial analysis and investments.
Casino has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a graduate certificate in financial markets from Boston University Metropolitan College. He resides in Raleigh, where he volunteers on the board of directors for The Raleigh School and Plexus Capital.
