Allegacy Federal Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in North Carolina, has opened its new financial center in Wake Forest BioTech Place.
To make way for expansion at the Piedmont Triad Research Park, Allegacy sold its longtime Fifth Street location earlier this year and officially closed that building in April. The new center is relocated across the street into a 3,500 square-foot space in the new BioTech Place. The new address is 575 North Patterson Avenue, Winston-Salem, 27101.
“We are excited about the move which allows us to remain in the area to serve our existing member base here as well as offer a great service for the many new biotech, research and other companies that will become our neighbors,” said Ira Williams, AVP of Financial Center Operations. “Our role as a financial institution is to help these companies and their employees make smart financial choices as they grow and become huge contributors to the local economy.”
The full-service location also adds space for investment and wealth-management services. An ATM and a drive through option are available in the parking lot.
