Please plan on joining the League in Raleigh to meet with members of the North Carolina General Assembly. State Capital Connections provides credit unions and board members with the opportunity to meet and build relationships with state lawmakers and share stories on how credit unions are improving the financial lives of members.
The dates for our annual State Capital Connections are as follows:
May 22-23: Western, Piedmont, Southeast and Northeast Chapters
June 4-5: Foothills, Northwest, North Piedmont and Tarheel Chapters
As in the past, we’ll kick-off the afternoon of your arrival with a legislative briefing and political update followed by a group dinner. We’ll reconvene the next morning for our legislative visits and divide into groups based on legislators. As in the past, someone from the League will accompany each group. In the meantime, hotel accommodations are listed below.
