In a letter (12-CU-02) released to credit unions, NCUA announced ACH services offered by US Central Bridge (Central) will be shut down by December 2012. Currently 18 corporate credit unions, including First Carolina Corporate Credit Union, utilize Central’s ACH services. First Carolina Corporate is in the process of converting their ACH users from Central’s ACH system to First Carolina’s new ACH system. David Brehmer, President/CEO of First Carolina Corporate, expects that all ACH users will be converted to the new ACH system by the end of April 2012.
