You are invited to join the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation (CCUF) in two great opportunities to connect with children and the causes our institutions support.
On Sunday, June 24 credit union representatives will gather by 1 p.m. at Victory Junction Camp to prepare for and greet campers for Credit Union Week. The group will prepare posters for the occasion, then gather to cheer campers arriving from 2-4 p.m. and join in an ice cream social to follow. Anyone interested and their families are welcome to participate. Victory Junction Camp is at 450 Adam's Way in Randleman, NC.
Then you are invited to join CCUF, both state leagues, Credit Unions for Kids, and CUNA in Volunteer Day at Levine Children’s Hospital on Wednesday, June 27 starting at 10 a.m. Construction on the rooftop playground already has begun, so you can witness progress made there while sharing in arts and crafts with some of the young patients. There is no limit to the number you can bring, and activities will conclude by 1 p.m. Levine Children’s Hospital is at 1000 Blythe Blvd in Charlotte.
To share in either or both of these events, RSVP to CCUF’s John McGrail (john@carolinasfoundation.org) or NCCUL’s Geoff Finken (gfinken@ncleague.org).
