Six credit unions, joined by the Western Chapter, received their national awards from CUNA at a special ceremony on Wednesday evening during the GAC. The Tarheel winners won in each awards category - Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award, Louise Herring Award for Philosophy in Action, and the Desjardins Financial Education Award.
