Please join us for this informative event! Tom Lawler is the project officer in FinCEN’s Office of Compliance and lead manager on credit union issues and FinCEN’s relationship with NCUA. Tom will discuss current exam issues, improving SAR filings, proposed rules as well as other issues relevant to the credit union industry.
This event will also feature presentations by Jeanne Couchois & Lauren Whaley of the NC Credit Union League. Couchois will discuss risk assessments, red flags, and training the board. Whaley will discuss updates and changes with regard to OFAC.
