John Radebaugh Joins Support Center Board of Directors

The Support Center announced that NCCUL President/CEO John Radebaugh has joined its board of directors. Radebaugh and six other representatives were named to the Support Center board.

“The new board members bring with them years of demonstrated commitment to the community as well as a wealth of economic development and lending experience,” said Lenwood V. Long, Sr., president and CEO of The Support Center. “They will each be a great asset to helping The Support Center achieve its core mission of making sure that all people have fair access to affordable capital and financial services.”

Radebaugh will serve on the board with Melanie Chernoff, Public Policy Manager, Red Hat; Marshall Cherry, Vice President, Roanoke Electric Cooperative; Scott Kelly, Vice President, KeySource Commercial Bank; Dr. Lucy Reuben, Professor, Duke University; Nancy Patrick Stroud, Marketing Director, First Legacy Community Credit Union; and A. Napoleon Wallace, Special Assistant to CEO Self Help.

The Support Center is a statewide nonprofit that partners with Community Development Credit Unions(CDCUs) and community based organizations to provide small business and mortgage lending services to its members; and to  provide training, grants and loans to create economic opportunities for individuals, families and communities in underserved markets.
