North Carolina Department of Public Instruction approves NEFE as Supplementary Education Material!
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction has approved the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) High School Financial Planning Program (HSFPP) to be included in their listing of supplementary materials for teachers. This announcement follows a push by SECU and the North Carolina Credit Union Network for the Department of Public Instruction to review and comment on the worthwhile program. Program materials will be available through SECU’s Consumer Education Department. The NEFE HSFPP features a flexible format and may be integrated into existing courses or taught independently. All students, college bound and those entering the workforce subsequent to high school graduation, will greatly benefit from these materials.
